Published March 8, 2008

LAHORE, March 7: The Lahore High Court has been moved against the hike in prices of petroleum products with a prayer to declare it illegal, unjustified and unreasonable.

Petitioner-lawyer M.D Tahir on Friday challenged the rise through an application in an already pending petition against the hike in POL prices in the past.

The lawyer lists the federal government, the advisory committee for local oil marketing companies and the Gas Regulatory Authority as respondents in his application.
