PFUJ expresses concern over kidnapping of journalists

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, March 6: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ) has expressed deep concern over the kidnapping of two journalists in Balochistan, three weeks after the murder of a senior journalist.

Journalists Hameed Baloch and Khalid Khosa have been missing for three days.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, the PFUJ called upon the authorities to immediately locate the journalists and disclose the motive behind the kidnapping.

The statement said that over the past five years, at least 12 journalists had been kidnapped, most of them by intelligence agencies, adding that several journalists had been killed while performing duty.
