Reports said a bus (RN-7139), coming from Jamaldinwali to Rahim Yar Khan, got out of the driver’s control near Maalikpur and, resultantly, collided with an ambulance (CR-6233) and also a passenger van (PE-1271) which was going to Sadiqabad.

The bus and ambulance overturned and the ambulance driver and many passengers -- Muhammad Aslam, Maqsoodan Mai, Sakina, Allah Bakhsh, Hanif Bibi, Ashiq Husain, Allah Bakhsh, Zareena, Niaz Ahmad, Haleem and Mohsin Sajjad -- were injured. They were shifted to the Shaikh Zayed Medical College Hospital. The bus driver fled despite being injured.
