KARACHI, March 5: Four ships carrying containers, chemicals and palm oil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, only one ship was accommodated berth and a total of four vessels, Maersk Virginia, Star Gamma, Karavados and Nord Merkur, were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat and diesel oil at the wharves.

A cargo volume of 57,545 tons comprising 42,805 tons of import and 14,740 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as three ships left the port.
