KARACHI, March 4: Wapda gymnasts will defend their crown when the two-day 15th All-Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Trophy gymnastics championship gets into action at the Sindh Sports Board Complex on March 15.

Besides the hosts Sindh, teams from Punjab, NWFP, Army, Wapda, and Police have confirmed their participation, secretary, Sindh Gymnastics Association (SGA), Ahmed Ali, said on Tuesday.

He said confirmation of two affiliated units of the Pakistan Gymnastics Federation namely Balochistan and Railways are awaited.

Six events — floor exercise, roman ring, parallel bar, pummeled horse, vault and horizontal bar — will be held during the contest which is being held under the aegis of SGA.
