Three die in accident

SHIKARPUR, March 4: Three passengers including a lawyer were killed in a coach and jeep collision near Mirza Bundo on Tuesday.

Reports said a Peshawar bound speedy passenger coach coming from Karachi dashed into a jeep from rear while overtaking. As a result three persons travelling in the jeep, including driver Wazir Ali Lashari, passengers Nizamuddin Abro Advocate and Abdul Razzaq Pahore were killed, while Yar Muhammad Shaikh and Abdul Rahim Pahore seriously wounded.

The deceased and the injured were on their way from Shikarpur to Thul to attend a court hearing. The driver escaped leaving the coach on the road.

Khanpur police had registered a case.
