KARACHI, March 3: Six ships carrying containers and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where a dozen ships including Golden Arrow, Bunga Delima, Nordwoge, Jitra Bhum, Gentle, Swat and Westama were berthed after the departure of over a dozen ships during the last two days.

The departed ships were led by Eric G. Gibson, Oel Strength Kota Perdana, Harmony, Ninth Ocean, Johar, Rising Sun, Gagasan Melaka, Ecstasy, Chemroad Luna, Oriental Orchid and Pacific Arrow, while Danicla, Nordwoge, Swat, Golden Arrow and Westama are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.241m tons comprising 0.105m tons of export cargo including 11,446 tons of cement and 24,100 tons of clinkers and 0.137m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Bulk Arrow to load 17,500 tons of cement and Al-Aqeela to load 8,000 tons of cement, Augusta, APL Shenzhen, Arnis and Cape Negro with containers.
