SUKKUR, March 2: A large number of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz activists held a procession and a sit-in in Mirpur Mathelo on Sunday in protest against police failure to find five people, who had been kidnapped 17 days ago.

The contingents of police reached the place and tried to disperse the protestors, which led to a scuffle between policeman and protesters.

The police arrested 10 activists which further enraged the protesters and they staged a sit-in at the main bazaar chowk bringing traffic to a halt. They ended their protest after police released all the arrested activists.—Correspondent
