Two brothers shot dead

SIALKOT, March 1: Two brothers were shot dead over a marriage dispute in Kotli Behram locality here on Saturday.

Reportedly, Muhammad Yousaf, a trader, was engaged to “A” a few months ago but later, forced by his family, he ended the engagement. The forsaken girl committed suicide a few days ago.

To avenge the girl’s death, six of her armed relatives, led by Muhammad Aslam, barged in Yousaf’s house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing him and his elder brother Muhammad Azeem on the spot. The accused fled away firing in the air.—Correspondent
