KARACHI, Feb 29: Hamdard Public School and Habib Public School ‘Reds’ stormed into the last four of the HPS sports festival Inter-school volleyball tournament here on Friday at their gymnasium.

Hamdard Public School registered their second successive win when they got the better of Arts and Science Academy 25-10, 25-12.

The winners who gave a straight drubbing to Habib Public School ‘Reds’ on the opening day are drawn to meet Nasra School in the first pre-final on Saturday.

The Habib Public School ‘Reds’ got a walkover against SKBZ Public School when the latter failed to turn up for their fixture after confirmation. The second semi-final will be an all-Habib School affair as ‘Reds’ are slated to meet ‘Greens’.

The event concludes on Monday with the final on the card.

The Inter-school basketball tournament, last event of the festival, also begins from Monday with eight teams vying for the honours.
