This was announced by the registrar of the university on Friday.

According to the new plan, there will be two tests of 15 marks each, one in March and the other in the third week of April this year. The duration of each test/ examination as well as the make-up test will be of 50 minutes only.

Out of the three tests, mid-term -I and II and one make-up, the marks of the two best will be considered for grading purposes.

The University of Karachi, however, informed that the ex-students/failures of BA, BSc (Hons) first and second year would appear in the examination according to the old system.

These students would not be allowed to appear in the mid-term and make-up tests.
