Karachi market rates


KARACHI, Feb 27: The following were Wednesday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 1,300 to 1,350; Mirpurlane 1,400 to 1,450; Nawabshah 1,450 to 1,500; Castor Seed (Sindh) 950 to 975.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 5,500 to 6,500; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 4,000 to 4,800; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 1,700 to 1,900.

Cereals

BARELY (per 100 kg): 1,350 to 1,450; Bajra 1,500 to 1,700; Maize 1,525 to 1,550; Jowar 1,375 to 1,400; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,450 to 1,650; Maida (80 kg) 1,800 to 1,900; Suji 1,800 to 1,900; Atta 1,240 to 1,260.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati Karnel 4,500 to 6,500; 386

Basmati 3,300 to 4,200; Basmati 385 Saila 3,500 to 4,200; Basmati Broken 2,600 to 3,000; Basmati Super 4,000 to 5,500; Irri-6 Sindh 2,200 to 2,500; Irri-9 Sindh 3,000 to 3,200.

EGGS: Rs37 per dozen, Broiler (Live): Rs70 per kilo, Cull Bird (Live): Rs30 per kilo.
