SUKKUR: Taxi-driver missing for three days

By Our Correspondent

SUKKUR Feb 24: A large number of people held a demonstration in front of the Sukkur press club on Sunday in protest against police failure to find taxi driver Mashooq Manganhar, who, they believe, had been kidnapped on Friday.

The protesters, led by Dado Manganhar and Sudheer Manganhar, gathered outside the press club and raised slogans against police, which according to them, have failed to recover the hostage despite passage of three days.

Taxi-driver Mashooq Manganhar, resident of the Barrage colony, Sukkur, had gone to Khanpur, Shikarpur district, with some passengers and since then he has been missing.

Mashooq Manganhar’s cousin Dado Manganhar lodged an FIR with the ‘A’ section police station, Sukkur late on Friday night.
