KARACHI, Feb 21: Karachi Grammar School (KGS) set a final date with St Patrick’s High School after a convincing semi-final victory in the Karachi United schools soccer championship at DHA Football Stadium on Wednesday.
Danesh Gilani struck twice in KGS’s 3-0 win over The City School PAF Campus.
The winners got off to a flying start with a Danesh goal in the 10th minute before Daniyal Alvi doubled the acsendency in the 24th minute.
Danesh sealed the fate of the match with a 46th-minute strike.
St Patrick’s High School defeated Foundation Public School 2-0.
Muhammad opened the scoring in the 18th minute, while Imran found the cage for the second in the 40th minute.
KGS face St Patrick’s High School in the final on Saturday, while City School PAF Chapter play Foundation Public School in the third place playoff the same day.
