TIMERGARA, Feb 19: Two persons suffered burn injuries when fire broke out at a gas cylinder shop in the Talash bazaar here on Tuesday.
The shop owner Kamal told police that one Mustafa allegedly fired a gunshot at a cylinder in the shop, which exploded, triggering a series of explosions. Sanaullah and Ghulam were injured during the blast, which also destroyed three other shops in the vicinity.
The injured were shifted to the Timergara hospital where doctors said they were in stable condition. Later, the fire brigade staff controlled the fire. Police have arrested accused Mustafa.
Sources said that the motive behind the incident was a property dispute between the owner and the accused, who are cousins.
