Pakistan to feature in U-14 soccer festival
LAHORE, Feb 18: Pakistan will take on India in the AFC U-14 Football Festival (South Asia Region), to be held in Iran from May 10 to 23.
So far, Pakistan have featured in four editions (2004 to 2007).
Besides the hosts, other competing nations in the event are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
On the sidelines of the Festival, an AFC ‘C’ Coaching License and Referees Courses will be held apart from a workshop for the coaches.
In the last event held in Bangladesh, Pakistan had outplayed India 3-1, Maldives 6-0 besides drawing against Iran 0-0.
