Tergat to skip London Marathon


NAIROBI, Feb 15: Kenya’s former world marathon record holder, the 39-year-old Paul Tergat says he will skip the London Marathon in April due to resuming serious training after a four-month military course.

Tergat attended a military training course near the Rift Valley town of Nakuru at the time of the recent political turmoil triggered by December’s presidential elections. —Reuters
