LAHORE, Feb 14: The 6th Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey 2008 will now be held from July 8 to 18 at Hyderabad, India, instead of the previously planned dates of Oct 11-19, a Pakistan Hockey Federation spokesman said on Wednesday.

Teams from 10 countries are taking part in the competition, which is also a qualifier for the 9th Men’s Junior World Cup, to be jointly organised by Malaysia and Singapore in 2009. Besides hosts India, the other countries taking part in the event are Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Chinese-Taipei, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Oman and Sri Lanka. The top three teams will qualify for next year’s Junior World Cup.
