PPP rally attacked
MIRPURKHAS, Feb 14:Four PPP activists were injured in an armed attack on a PPP rally between Khipro and Hathungo, in district Sanghar on Thursday.
Reports said that the rally led by candidate for NA-235 Sarfaraz Rajar and PS-80 Ali Hassan Hingorjo, was going from village Ubaidullah Dars to Shah Baig Mari. It was attacked by armed men who also resorted to firing as a result of which four PPP activists Majeed Mari, Salam Mari, Hamzo Mari and Yusuf Mari sustained injuries who were rushed to taluka hospital Khipro.
PPP candidate for NA-235, Sarfaraz Rajar, accused the PML-F men of attacking the rally. Taluka nazim Khipro, Khuda Bux Dars was also in the attack, he added. He further said that he along with the workers staged a sit-in outside the Khipro police station.—Correspondent
