OKARA, Feb 11: A former naib nazim of union council No 32/2-L was killed on resistance in a dacoity bid on Okara-Deepalpur Road on Monday.

Reports said that Muhammad Amin Bhatti, the supporter of former defence minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal, was returning to his village along with his companions in a jeep after an election campaign when robbers signaled him to stop. He was shot dead by robbers when he did not comply with their orders.
