KARAK, Feb 11: Three women belonging to the same family were killed and another was injured in firing during a wedding ceremony in the Mattukhel area, Doaba police station jurisdiction, on Sunday evening.

The victims were identified as daughters of Lal Shaoor, Hakim Jan and Abbasi.

Residents said the incident took place when the wedding procession was preparing to leave the Mattukhel area for the neighbouring Kundi village.

Police registered a case on Monday.
