KARACHI, Feb 11: Nine ships carrying wheat, palm oil and to load cement and molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where a dozen ships, including Lucky Arrow to load cement, Oel Shreyas, Wan Hai-303, Despina P, Jitra Bhum, Ever, Given to unload and load containers, Bunga Lanka and Rickmers Dubai, to offload and load general cargo, St. James, Lalazar and Johar, oil tankers were berthed during the last two days.
Sailing was also active as over a dozen vessels, Calvin P. Titus, Gulf Bridge, Hanjin Port Adelaide, Tiger Creek, Oel Trust, Chemway Lara, Leopard, Oel Shreyas, Y.M. Improvement, Harmony, Bunga Kenari, Ninos, and Lucky Man are due to sail out on Tuesday.
A total volume of 0.302m tons comprising 52,099 tons of export cargo and 0.250m tons of import cargo was handled during the last two days.
The following ships are due on Tuesday: Lagonda, with 27,000 tons of wheat, Maricella Bottilglior, to load molasses, Negotiator, with 12,000 tons of palm oil, APL Brisbane, Cap Nego, with containers, Hyun Jin, to load cement, Breeze, with general cargo, Delta Ranger, with Cannula, Steela Deneb, with livestock.
