RAWALPINDI, Feb 10: Security agencies are hunting two men riding an ‘explosive-laden’ car that they said could strike in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Dawn has learnt.

Police sources said two men aged between 18 and 20 years were in the black car that might strike at some sensitive place in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The intimation about the presence of the ‘explosive-laden car’ was given to the top police officials of the twin cities by the federal government with the directive to take appropriate security measures and search the vehicle.

The federal government has directed the security agencies to further beef up security throughout the two cities and arrest the suspects travelling in the car.
