Pylon partially damaged in explosion

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Feb 10: An electricity pylon was partially damaged by an explosion in Hazargangi, in the outskirts of Quetta, on Sunday.

Sources said that the explosion caused by a device placed near the pylon did not affect power supply.

Quetta Electricity Supply Company sources said that work to replace the damaged pylon had been started.

Meanwhile, police on Sunday arrested three suspects in connection with Saturday’s bomb blast near the Frontier Corps’ mess in Nushki in which one security man was killed and four others were injured.

Sources said that the suspects, Abdul Malik, Azad Khan and Bibi Khan Mengal, had been taken into custody for questioning.
