SHIKARPUR, Feb 10: The SHO of Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station, Abdul Haq Qureshi, was suspended by DPO Shikarpur for negligence in duty and failure to control crime.
RALLY: The District Kissan Board (DKB) affiliated with Jamaat-i- Islami, took out a rally here on Sunday to highlight problems of farmers.
The rally was led by president of DKB Abdul Qadir Abro advocate, secretary Haji Wali Mohammad Brohi and Dr Mehmood Illahi Hakro.
The DKB leaders expressed their concern over high rates of fertiliser, pesticides and electricity and other agriculture inputs. They demanded availability of these inputs on subsidised rates.
