Inter-school throwball enters semi-final stage
KARACHI, Feb 9: The ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams of Lyceum School, Karachi Grammar School and Aga Khan Secondary School qualified for semi-finals of the AKU Inter School/ Collegiate girls’ throwball tournament by winning their respective matches at the AKU Gymnasium on Friday.
Lyceum ‘A’ defeated Bayview High School 15-2, 15-4 mainly because of a good show by Rabia Khalid and Hava Mubashir.
Anam Khattak excelled as Lyceum ‘B’ outclassed City School Gulshan A-levels 15-2, 15-3.
Karachi Grammar School beat Meritorious Science College 15-3, 15-3 courtesy of good performance by Hanniya Ali Raza and Muneeba Tabani.
The semi-finals will be played on Sunday.—Agencies
