3 killed as roofs cave in
TAXILA, Feb 9: Three persons including two women were killed and five others injured in two different incidents of roof collapses here on Saturday.
In the first incident, roof of the house of Molvi Sabir at Thata Khalil caved in because of the rains, killing a daughter and wife of Sabir, while he himself and his two other daughters were injured.
In another incident, house of the Afghan nationals near Margalla hills collapsed, in which one person died and two others were injured.
The injured were taken to the hospital.
When contacted, police expressed their ignorance about the incidents as, they said, no one had reported to the police about the mishaps.—Correspondent
