THATTA: Shirazis hopeful of victory

Published February 9, 2008

THATTA, Feb 8: The government, especially after devolution in Thatta district undertook record development schemes which is clear sign of people reposing trust in us, said the PML-backed Shirazi group candidates Riaz Shah Shirazi for NA-237 and Amir Haider Shah Shirazi for PS-85.

They said this during corner meetings in Let village near coastal town Mirpur Sakro and Gharo and Buhara towns on Thursday. They said the PPP contestants had lost their temperament and attempting to cash the assassination of late Benazir Bhutto.

They said Shirazis believe in practical service and development schemes were evidence to their claim.
