HYDERABAD, Feb 6: The University of Sindh has postponed the examination paper of affiliated degree colleges and private institutes scheduled for Feb 7.

According to an announcement, the same paper of the affiliated degree colleges will now be held on Feb 15, and affiliated private institutes will be held on Feb 16.

Meanwhile, the university syndicate has appointed Dr Mohammad Usman Memon as new director of Dr M.A. Kazi Institute of Chemistry, University of Sindh, in its meeting held here.

The syndicate also appointed Dr Shamsuddin Shaikh as new chairman of the department of zoology of the university.

The meeting approved renaming the seminar library of the department of Comparative Religion and Islamic Culture of the university as Professor Dr A.J.Halepota seminar library.
