KARACHI: Many shops gutted

KARACHI, Feb 6: More than a dozen shops were gutted in a fire which broke out in the timber market of Korangi No.6 on Wednesday morning. There were no casualties.

Fire-tenders from all fire stations in the city had to be called out to control the fire, which was put out after three hours of struggle.

An electrical short circuit was stated to be the possible cause of the blaze.—Staff Reporter
