RIYADH, Feb 1: At least 13 foreign workers were killed in a road accident early Friday in Saudi Arabia, the police said.
Eight of the victims are originally from Bangladesh, while two were Indian and the remaining three were Pakistani, local police official Hamad Fawzan said. Eighteen people were also injured and nine of them were reported in critical condition.
The workers were riding on the back of a pickup truck when it collided head-on with another vehicle coming in the opposite direction near Baqeeq, 380 kilometres east of the capital, Riyadh.
