NAWABSHAH, Feb 1: Three students were injured when police baton-charged a group of students staging a sit-in on the Sakrand road here on Friday.

Activists of Sindh People’s Students Federation, Quaid-i-Awam University chapter, had staged a sit-in on the road which led to suspension of vehicular traffic.

They were demanding of the university administration to provide them buses to go to Naudero to attend chehlum of the assassinated PPP leader Benazir Bhutto.
