KARACHI, Jan 31: The Board of Directors of BOC Pakistan on Wednesday approved an investment of Rs214 million for the installation of a 23 tons per day carbon dioxide plant at Port Qasim.

The new project is expected to be completed in seven months. The investment will be funded through the company’s own internal cash generation. This investment will enable the company to meet the growing demand of carbon dioxide, specifically in the beverage sector, says a press release.

KARACHI, Jan 31: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited (JCR-VIS) here on Thursday announced to withdraw the entity rating of BBB/A-2 assigned to Mybank Limited with immediate effect.

The withdrawal was said to be on account of non-renewal of rating contract.—APP
