KARACHI, Jan 29: Four ships carrying containers, wheat and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last on Monday.

Meanwhile, identical number of ships with containers, chemicals, project cargo and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Nedlloyd Ocean, Maersk Ohio, John G.R, Xin Hua Men, Yanaseni and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 46,201 tons comprising 43,369 tons of import and 2,832 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Santhya, Norfolk Express, Sirios, John GR and Al-Soor left the port while Maersk Ohio was due to depart.
