KARACHI, Jan 26: The Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI) on Saturday rejected the statement of an office-bearer of Pakistan Workers Federation that the institution had failed to provide medical facilities to a driver Mohammad Shafi who fractured his leg during work.
A press release issued by the SESSI said that Shafi had been receiving treatment under Social Security Scheme since 13th August, 2004.
Although he was not entitled to the benefits as per Social Security Rules the institution had given him complete medical care on humanitarian grounds, said the release.—PR
