LARKANA: Polio campaign begins today

LARKANA, Jan 21: Lady Councillors of District Council Larkana have made an appeal to parents to fully participate in three-day polio immunization campaign from January 22 to 24.

In a joint statement, women councillors Tauqir Fatima Bhutto, Khursheed Khatyan, Naseeban Channa, Aliya Rizvi and others said the government had launched crusade to eradicate polio from the country and it was the responsibility of all to extend cooperation in this regard.

They called upon parents to get children below the age of five immunized against polio and cooperate with visiting workers of Health Department to make the programme successful.—APP
