HYDERABAD, Jan 17: The regional organising committee for the January 24 Pakistan-Zimbabwe match reviewed the arrangements here in a meeting on Thursday.

Chaired by District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil, the participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction over the security and accommodation arrangements for the players, officials and the media.

It was decided that close circuit cameras would be installed before January 24 to monitor the activities outside the team hotel, around the stadium and on the roads leading to the ground, the expenses of which would be borne by the district government.Policemen in plain clothes will be deployed in and outside the ground. Parking space has been reserved for the vehicles near the stadium. The cricket enthusiasts would be issued printed tickets that would be on sale from January 21.

No vehicles will be allowed inside the stadium and all spectators will be body searched before entering the stadium. Items like transistors, batteries, bottled water and food items will not be allowed inside the match venue.

Also, the media personnel would be given special passes for the match. The District Nazim has announced a local holiday in the district on the match day to fecilitate the cricket fans who will be witnessing the first international match here in almost 10 years.
