KARACHI, Jan 16: Four ships, carrying containers and oil, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Lucky Arrow, to load cement, Kapitan Byankin and Cap Colorado to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Mol Ability, Conti Germany, Aquarius Leader, Merlin Explorer and Ioanthi, while Oel Trust, Kapitan Byankin, China Star, Faith-1, Ariclla, Raissa, Ayu, Maria Th, APL Brisbane, Aqua Star and Lucky Arrow are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 86,248 tons, comprising 23,400 tons of export cargo and 62,808 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Splandour, with oil, Eric G. Gibson, Hanjin Chittagong and Tower Bridge, with containers.
