Minister briefed on problems
ISLAMABAD, Jan 15: A delegation of the All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation (Apnec) on Tuesday briefed caretaker Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Nisar Ghumman on problems being faced by working journalists because of the non-implementation of the seventh wage award.
The delegation informed the minister that working journalists were being paid salaries under the Sixth Wage Award given in 1994.—APP
