KARACHI, Jan 15: Senior Superintendent of Police Sain Rakhio Merani was transferred from his post of DIG East on Tuesday evening.

He has been replaced by DIG Salman Syed, who was serving as the DIG Administration. Mr Syed has also served as SSP East before his transfer to Balochistan. Recently he was transferred back to Sindh and was posted as DIG Administration.

DIG Mir Zubair Mehmood was the first officer to take over as DIG East following the establishment of the new police system divided into three zones.— Staff Reporter
