KARACHI, Jan 15: Eleven ships, carrying palm oil, containers and to load cement, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Aquarius Leader to offload cars, Golina to load cement, Maria Th, to offload coal, and Mol Ability and China Star to unload and load containers berthed after the departure of as many as five ships.

The vessels, which departed included Mars,Venus-7, Al-Masi, Shadwan Island and Wales 2,while Merlin Explorer, Ioanthi, China Star and Mol Ability are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 90,472 tons, comprising 29,286 tons of export cargo and 61,186 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Somen, Lalazar, Johar, with crude oil, Olympian Princess, with base oil, Bunga Melati-7, with 8,000 tons of plam oil, Al-Maqwa, with high-speed diesel, Augusta, Y M Energy, St Irene, with containers, Glory Tellus and Sealo-1 to load cement.
