KARACHI, Jan 14: Six ships carrying containers and to load cement and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Five ships, Venus-7, to unload chemicals, Faith-1, Conti Germany, to unload and load containers, and Ioanthi to offload coal were berthed during the last two days.

Sailing was fairly active as 15 ships departed after unload and loading cargoes. They are: Calvin P Titus, Helene Rickmers, Oel Shreyas, Kota Gunawan, Pacific Osprey, Marc Thrccium, Bunga Kenari, Danica Red Iron Buytterfly, Madonna-11, Spica, Bow Naga, Merry Fisher, B.B.C. Campana, and Oriental Tulip departed on Sunday and Monday.

Half a dozen others, including Shadwan Island, Wales-2, As Mars, Conti Germany, Ioanthi and Merilin Explorer are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.175m tons, comprising 45,519 tons of export cargo and 0.129m tons of import tonnage, was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kuleli, to load 4,000 tons of ethanol, Semeru, with 67,000 tons of crude oil, Capl Colorado, APL Brisbane, with containers, Lucky Arrow and Nafto Cement, to load 11,400 and 12,000 tons of cement, respectively.
