LAHORE, Jan 11: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced draws for the Regional Inter-district Under-19 tournament-2008 in all the 11 regions.

With the exception of Quetta, matches in the other 10 regions are likely to commence from Jan 23. They start from Feb 1 in Quetta.

The matches are of two-day duration only even though cricket circles have been demanding they be turned into three-day affairs. But as far as participation of teams is concerned, it is a big event. Still it has no real attraction but to judge talent at the grass root level.

Before this the event used to be held during July and September.
