Officials named for U-19 events

LAHORE, Jan 11: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the officials for the Pakistan Under-19 squad for the Sri Lanka triangular tournament and the World Cup.

Six officials have been named for the Sri Lanka event, starting from Jan 18. Abdur Raquib, a member of the Governing Board, has been named the manager along with Mansoor Rana (retained as coach), Sajjad

Ali Gill (trainer), Dr Riaz Ahmed (physio) and Umar Farooq (analyst).

Former Test cricketer Ijaz Ahmed will also fly with the team for the first time as their fielding coach.

Raza Rashid and Malang Ali as the media manager and masseur, respectively, will also be going in addition to the already selected six officials, for the World Cup to be held in February-March in Malaysia where Pakistan will be eyeing a hat-trick of crowns.
