DADU, Jan 11: Different branches of banks and government offices in the town remain non-functional despite passage of almost two weeks of riots that shook Sindh after the murder of Benazir Bhutto.

As a result the prevailing scenario has made thousands of people to suffer. The record of banks and government offices had almost been burnt during the violence.

Employees of affected offices and banks were attending to their offices but owing to non-availability of record and furniture, proper work could not be initiated.

The banks and offices, including NBP, UBL, ABL, National Saving Centre, district council and taluka council, district accounts, not started proper working.
