KARAK, Jan 10: The Poultry Farm Association has been asked to inform doctors if they detect any symptoms of the virus in workers or in their chickens.

Office bearers of the association met Additional Coordination Officer Mazhar Sajjad on Thursday and informed him about the threats of the disease.

The ACO assured them that the district administration would extend its support and make all efforts to check the spread of the disease. Farm owners were asked to stay away from the birds if they find any symptoms of the virus and inform doctors immediately.

The ACO urged the poultry farm owners to remain vigilant and adopt precautionary measures.
