KHAIRPUR: 3 kidnapped in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR, Jan 10: Three men were kidnapped from the Mehtani area of Gambat taluka on Wednesday night.

Three officials of a private insurance company -- Ameer Ahmed Khuhro, Ali Sher Mahar (residents of Lakhi Ghulam Shah, Shikarpur district) and Atif Raza Shaikh (of Larkana) were going to Dilawar Khuhro village in a car when 10 armed men intercepted their car and kidnapped them.

The footprints of the kidnap victims and the kidnappers were traced on Thursday morning by the relatives of Mr Khuhro.

This is the second incident of kidnapping in the district during the last three days. On Monday evening, two brothers, Basheer Channa and Shabbir Channa, and their friend, Nazeer Panhwar, were kidnapped from the Agra area.
