KARACHI, Jan 9: Ten ships carrying containers, palm oil and to load 2,244 tons of kinno are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Orient Stride, APL Shenzhen and Soon Fu to unload and load containers and Gemini to offload oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The departed ships were led by Mol Admiration, Wan Hai-302, Itha Bhum and Minh Tho-18, while Soon Fu, Ikan Altamira, Noor-e-Madina, APL Shenzhen, Norasia Alps, Gulf Grace and Sea Princess are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.102m tons comprising 45,919 tons of export cargo including 6,781 tons of cement and 12,430 tons of clinkers and 55,846 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Spica to load kinno, Venus-7 with 5,000 tons of palm oil, Bow Saga with chemicals, Oel Trust, Tower Bridge, Kota Gunawan, Calvin P. Titus, Pacific Osprey, Cosco Shekou and Marc Threcium with containers.
