Explosive defused
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 7: Massive destruction was averted when police defused an explosive time device here on Monday.
Officials said police rushed to the site when a woman told them that a suspicious device was lying near Diyal Road. The officials said that the time bomb weighed at least 5 kilogrammes.
CHECKPOST ATTACKED: A checkpost of police and Frontier Constabulary came under rocket attack on the Dera-Maddi Road here on Sunday night. —Correspondent
