Independent politicians join PML-N

QUETTA, Jan 6: Independent politicians forming an electoral alliance called ‘like-minded group’ have decided to join Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz).

Addressing a press conference at the press club here on Sunday, former city Nazim of Quetta Mohammad Rahim Kakar and tribal elders Mir Behroz Khan Reki and Agha Umar Bungulzai said that although they had formed the group, they had decided to join the PML-N because they thought it was the only party that could steer the nation out of the present impasse.

Accusing the government of pursuing unwise policies, provincial president of PML-N Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasar said that people not only had to contend with unemployment, price hikes, flour shortage but they were increasingly feeling insecure because of the growing lawlessness.
